Metzger Wickersham Attorney Edward E. Knauss, IV Retires from the practice of Law

Clark DeVere, Managing Shareholder of Metzger Wickersham in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has announced that Attorney Edward E. Knauss, IV has retired from the firm and the practice of law as of June 30th, 2021.

Attorney Knauss has been an attorney with the law firm for 47 years, where he also clerked during law school. He has been described by his colleagues at Metzger Wickersham as an “instrumental” part of the law firm’s success and growth throughout the years. He was a shareholder of the firm for many years and had served as the firm’s Managing Shareholder.

Edward – who is known as Ted – graduated from Harvard University in 1971 and completed his J.D. at Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law in 1974. He joined his father, Edward E. Knauss III, at Metzger Wickersham as he began his legal career decades ago. In the following years, he would come to be a leader at the firm. He was Board Certified as both a Civil Trial Specialist and a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, as authorized by The Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

In his retirement, Ted plans on spending time with his family and friends and pursuing other personal interests.
